frick the Big 10. They realized that if they didn't play this season they would be even further behind us than before.

This writer in USA Today, Christine Brennan, is as biased as anyone writing for a living these days.

Oh, the dishonor, the big ten becoming the SEC. The world is coming to an end. A lot of other people are playing football other than the SEC, if that makes a difference. She could not write that article, which is all about the big ten, without taking a shot at the SEC. Way to go, Christine.

Will the big ten ever regain its' rightful place as the premier place of know everything and holy arrogance? I am not sure I would pull for the big ten if they were playing Red China. Just my opinion.

I guess being in the same conference with Texas must have really, really sucked - if jumping in with these snobs in the Big 10 looked like the better option.

Congrats, Nebraska. You asked for it.

What a bunch of bullshite. Mizzou, UF, Vanderbilt, and Texas A&M can hold their own against any Big 10 institutions academically.

Look at the media bias in this.

Was at both of those and can confirm, especially Michigan State ... god they were awful. At least OSU traveled and were out and about leading up to the game

What a joke!

Its simple. The northern sports writers hate the SEC. Since they were taken out of the equation of soley picking the NC, the Big 10 has only won 2 championships in 21 years.

At least before the BCS and CFP they could share it with a SEC team.

They SUCK and the big ten SUCKS!!!!

Didn’t I read an article about the big 10 commissioner canceling football as a political stunt to get Biden elected?
Funny how all this shite is going away once the pills revealed it’s hurting Biden

Do they think they are the Ivy League or something?

Well, I know Michigan does.

The Big Ten is home to a school that harbored a dude who touched kids, and did much worse to them, in the shower. In the words of Erk Russel “Screw Florida and the mule they rode in on”, only replace Florida with the Big 10.

But screw Florida too.

And we all oughta toast the SEC for longdicking the Little Televen today.

Why should I ever believe anything put out by a rag like this!

Politicians looked at the polls and decided they couldnt wait until after the election to start football.

Typical fear mongering drivel. It's not a danger to most people. Look at the stats, even with inflated numbers, and it shows the rona is not a real threat save the old and compromised.

Absolutely disgusting how they would consider this the “big tens darkest day” after what happened with Sandusky and Penn state

This article wreaks of jealousy and hatred of the SEC and the south in general. They hate us because they know they aren't better, I know this because I've been all over up there.

The Big 10 thought they ruled the roost, but they don't rule anything, and bent the knee.

About a month ago, commissioner Warren stated "There's not a chance we'll revisit a discussion on playing football this fall".
Yesterday they stated we are kicking off on October 24th.
There's no doubt the abrupt dumbass decision in early August, which was politically motivated, was backfiring by the day.
With 2 other power 5 conferences already kicking off & SEC next week, we shouldn't be surprised by the decision.
B1G conference still looks like fools, cause we all know it was a political strategy that blew up in their face.
