Not sure why Auburn is so much further behind us. 5-2 vs 6-2..We have the better win, but their losses are to much better teams.

I can't figure that out either. It's just a beauty contest though.

Meant to ask yesterday Belle - still feeling better ?

Yeah, overdid it yesterday so I’m resting a bit today.

Having some reflux as well. Hoping it’s not bile reflux which isn’t uncommon after that surgery. But I really won’t know for a few weeks since it’ll take time for my stomach to adjust.

Other than that not too bad. Surgeon gave me this week off work as well so I’ll have some more time. Fatigue is kicking my arse a bit.

Thanks for asking.

Just noticed Clemson didn't receive a single vote.

I wonder when the last time that happened.

I hope we sneak back in by the end of the season.

Sorry, the coaches have a memorandum of understanding to not allow shitty teams in.

Poll inertia. It’s also funny that we’re now ahead of Penn State, who beat us

Bama was in a game at home against a now 3-5 Tennessee team into the 4th quarter. OSU was up 37 points @Indiana at the half.

Tennessee is 4-4 (2-3 conf)
Indiana is 2-5 (0-4 conf)

tOSU beat a team they were supposed to beat, a team that barely beat Western Kentucky. Tennessee, while not great by any stretch of the imagination, is significantly better than Indiana.

Based on what exactly? Indiana has probably played the hardest schedule in the country. Cincy, Iowa, MSU, OSU, and PSU. I guess it's just that OSU has looked better than Bama and Cincy the past few weeks, and for some reason Bama and Cincy passed OU but they didn't think OSU had done enough? It just seemed strange

Ohio State lost to an Oregon team that, in any other conference, would be a 3-loss team right now and were DOMINATED at home.

Losing by 7 is getting dominated?

Trying to have a debate without people flaming which is always difficult.

Why would Bama and Cincy pass OU this week and OSU wouldn't when both teams somewhat struggled this weekend and OSU went on the road and destroyed someone? Bama was in a game at home against a now 3-5 Tennessee team into the 4th quarter. OSU was up 37 points @Indiana at the half.

I'm fine with the rankings because they will work themselves out like they almost always do, but it seems strange that UC and Bama would pass OU when none of those 3 teams looked nearly as good as OSU did yesterday

Because as you so eloquently stated: Indiana!

OSU didn’t have the lead once and pretty much a 14 pt lead the whole game on the road.

It was pretty dominating by Oregon

Compare week 2 Oregon to week 2 A&M

Now compare week 8 Oregon to week 8 A&M and tell me who is better.

Based on a 3 point win over WKU.
