Herman’s hasn’t even been fired yet and he’s 5-3. If he wins remaining games he’s not getting fired.

In a year when there is nothing to talk about for sports, this would be a large story. It would be a large story any year

Herman hasn't even had a season with his own recruits as upperclassmen yet.

I disagree. His only chance at surviving for one more year was making the Big12 CG.

Herman is done, I expect they will announce it soon, maybe next week, as the buyout drops to 15 mil.

Supposedly the Meyer deal will be 5 years, $60 mil

Urban is kinda like Phil Jackson in a way. He's a great coach,no doubt. But lots of fellows have had reasonable success at Florida and Ohio State.

Vandy has an opening. Let's see him go to Nashville.

I'm sure it is. That fanbase thinks that they are "entitled" to win the BXII every year, because "They are Texas!"

We should all bow down to the greatness of the cows

Not sure how a school can justify a buyout of someone going 8-3 with a couple of close losses. One vs OU in OT and the other 2 losses a total of 5 points.

Some out of touch folks wishing, hoping, and trolling.

You are obviously not familiar with the Texas fan base and their incredible arrogance and sense of self entitlement. Go read their own fan threads at Burnt Orange Nation. They ran off their national championship winning coach Mack Brown after a sub par season. But Texas will probably never be rek can’t again. Once the socialist/woke crowd takes over a university they cease to be a football school. Even when they were winning Mack Brown was begging for attendance at home games.

Horns have two more games and they are both on the road...Kansas State and Kansas.

They do not have to worry about home ticket sales as both games are out of the state. Recruiting is already screwed so there is no reason to fire him how. His contract is written that lowers the buy out as time goes on.

He will get canned on the Monday following the loss to Les Miles/Kansas. Whether they can moneywhip Meyer is another question. Rumor has it that 12 million a year is waiting if he wants it. I'm waiting to see how they can justify 12M after giving us so much grief over Jimbo's 7.5M.
