Ranking the SEC by Win%... tie-breakers are then determined by win% of each team's opponents unless its just a 2-way tie and there is a head-to-head:

1. Alabama, 4-0

2. Georgia, 3-1 (Opponents are 9-3 in other games)
3. Texas A&M, 3-1 (Opponents are 6-4 in other games)

4. Florida, 2-1

5. Auburn, 2-2 (Opponents are 7-5 in other games)
6. Tennessee, 2-2 (Opponents are 6-5 in other games)
7. Arkansas, 2-2 (Opponents are 5-7 in other games)
8. S. Carolina, 2-2 (Opponents are 4-6 in other games)
9. Kentucky, 2-2 (Opponents are 4-8 in other games)

10. Missouri, 1-2 (Head-to-Head W & Opp are 5-3)
11. LSU, 1-2 (Head-to-Head L & Opp are 0-7)

12. Ole Miss, 1-3 (Opponents are 7-4 in other games)
13. Miss St., 1-3 (Opponents are 5-6 in other games)

14. Vanderbilt, 0-3

The fact some teams have played 3 games while others have played 4 sort of throws everything off just a bit.... there's no doubt in my mind that LSU has the 13th best resume, but they were helped out this week by not having to count another L against Florida.

So Alabama has played the toughest schedule so far... and is the only one undefeated...

That’s Alabama math right there.

Missouri has played 3 games, 1 of which was Alabama. So they are 1-1 in their non Alabama games.

Georgia is 3-0 in non Alabama games. Texas A&M is 3-0 in non Alabama games. Ole Miss is 1-2 in non Alabama games. They add up to 8-3, the number at the top.

It's not a difficult pattern to decipher.

After the Top 4, it gets difficult. You have five teams log-jammed at 2-2 and all are obviously flawed.

Auburn- was lucky to get to count a win over Arkansas and lost to South Carolina

Tennessee- was absolutely destroyed at home against Kentucky... an opponent Auburn defeated FTR

Arkansas- probably the best team right now out of this group, but unfortunately Auburn was able to count the W against them and they took an L. It is what it is.

S. Carolina- Lost to Tennessee. One of their wins is over Vandy so they do have the luxury of an easy W that others in the group don't.

Kentucky- Lost to Ole Miss and lost to Auburn

-----

You're splitting hairs between all these teams, IMO.

Go ahead and put us down for a 30 point loss to Florida and a 20 point loss to Carolina.

Auburn also cheated to beat Kentucky. Why is Arkansas the only team getting that benefit of the doubt?!

I think we get the benefit of the doubt because ours was the last play of the game. Yours happened in the first half. Still plenty of time to fix things.

I think UK's defense is nothing short of stellar - yet again. Stoops has been a great coach for Kentucky
