Didn’t A&M win a cotton bowl?

When did a&m play in a bcs bowl?
Posted on 1/19/20 at 6:49 pm to BlackCloud
Every time this thread gets started I just want to say frick the “two per conference” rule for BCS games

Cotton bowl wasn’t a bcs bowl

The Cotton Bowl wasn't a BCS game back in the day.
The BCS designated 4 major bowls (and later 5 when the championship became standalone).
And now we have 6 (the Cotton and Peach got promoted to the top tier)

Dude you're not gonna believe it. So this one time, in the SEC...

Arkansas is 1-1. Not our fault that the Sugar preferred worse teams in 2011.

You four need to get your crap together and stop being an embarrassment to our conference.

5 of LSU's wins have been in basically a home game at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

So? Not our fault they put the sugar bowl and NC’a there. They played where they were told to.

True, but it is a huge advantage for LSU. Only Bama has been able to beat LSU in New Orleans in a major bowl.

LSU is 5-1 (.833) in New Orleans.
LSU is 2-0 (1.000) in neutral site NY6 Bowl Games.
LSU is also 5-1 (.833) in the SECCG which is played in the state of Georgia (3 of those against UGA).
LSU has the best win% of any SEC team in the SECCG in the state of Georiga.
Let's be honest, when LSU has a very good/great team, they represent.
