Really? I was actually pulling for Ole Miss in the NCAA tournament. Yes, I hated Marshall but I would have hated him had he played for State or any other school. I liked Ole Miss's basketball team and rooted for them in the SECt and NCAAt. So yeah there's that.

They spell Cohen's middle name as Omaha in some circles.

I can think of about 1 million things that are funnier right off the top of head... Good luck to your baseball team tonight but I'm pulling for Dan McDonnell to make it out of your side of the bracket... He did a a lot for Ole Miss baseball and when I met him in person he made a great impression.

No, taking home a championship would bring a lot of positive, much needed, recognition to the state of Mississippi and to the conference.

It is it you are going to say we can't compete with you.

A 3 game series is fairly meaningless when comparing a team's overall season. I am sure you know that though.

So you have a reason other than hate/jealousy of State to wish they lose. That's understandable, but all this State hate due strictly to jealousy is just comical.

Well since 2011 the two programs have gone in far different directions:

2011: Regional vs Super
2012: Regional vs. Regional/SECT Champions
2013: Regional vs. Host/Super/Omaha

Rivalry? Yes
