I never understood the whole conference cheerleading thing. Why would I want the teams we are competing with to have success?

I'd cheer for Ole Miss if they were the conference's last hope in Omaha. I think most State fans would.

I went on Genes page maybe once in the past 6 years and that lasted about 2 minutes. So no. I've been to NAFOOM more. You may have the last part right though.

Living in a semi-C-USA/Big East/now ACC but still bordering B1G country city, it makes it very easy to appreciate SEC teams that are not mine taking it some of those guys. If our biggest rival was in conference I'd probably feel completely different.
