Why wouldn't you just go ahead and include us at 60?

What NET ranking constitutes a lock? Or are there too many other factors to consider?

Given how chaotic the season has been up to this point, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bunch of upsets in the conference tournaments as well.

Would say anything below 45 and you’re likely sweating come Sunday

There really isn't a clear number and it varies year to year. It looks right about at the 30 mark this year. There are some teams after that point who are on the edge. That doesn't mean there are not teams past 30 that are a lock though. Auburn being one of many examples.

Yep and the importance of those factors changes year to year.

Arkansas will be in if they handle Aggie on the road, barring a 1st round collapse in the SEC Tourney. Probably seals the SEC Coach of the Year for Muss, too. Or it should. A team with the tallest decent player is 6'6, routinely runs a 6 or 7 man roster and gets the Hogs to 20 wins.

Idk at least Joe Lunardi doesn't seem to car too much about the NET. Joe has UCLA as a 12th seed and they are freaking 75th in NET. It makes no sense.

UCLA gets a lot more pull from the committee than if say SC was 75th and had their record (which we basically do with a higher NET)

But also... i think he's saying that since they're currently in first in the Pac12 so they'll win their conference and get the auto bid.

True UCLA is a blue blood. A sleeping one currently, but it was one of the classics. Didn't consider the auto-bid, but now that you mention it that might be what he's implying.
