She underwent a 12 hour surgery and is now resting at home. The article did not give a prognosis on whether the surgery was successful or not.

Well they sent her home, so that's likely a good sign

Good news. Seems like her situation is a lot similar to Jrue Holliday's wife, the soccer player.
