Bob Bowlsby said the Big 12 directors heard from a representative from the Mayo Clinic who works with genetic cardiology.

Bowlsby: "I feel good about where we are at the present time... What we felt was golden a month ago is garbage today. ... We'll have bumpy spots throughout the fall."

Texas vs. OU at Cotton Bowl - I wonder if that actually happens? Texas State Fair is cancelled, not to mention Dallas County is run by crazy arse people. I would love to see Jerry World step up and steal it.

It's set for the Cotton Bowl and empty arse State Fair as of now. I'd rather it be there than at the Death Star

Tennessee better play OU like they were supposed to. The Big 12 just threw a lifeline to all of CFB.

What part of the SEC is only playing conference games do you not understand?

OU is playing Bobby Petrino/Missouri State as their OOC game.

It does note that the Big 12 is expected to open with a non-conference opponent, but in Oklahoma's case it appears to be Missouri State.

I believe that a lot of the Big 12 leadership and booster circuit is southern culture - Texas, Baylor, TCU, OU, Ok State, Texas Tech. I bet they got on the phone with the SEC and said "we're in if ya'll are in"..."and all ya'll corn eatin' states in this conference better not open your mouths"..."this is for your own good."

SEC waited for the Big 12 to make their chess move, which was already known. ACC probably on the call, too.

SEC and ACC are gonna allow for a little breathing room to make their formal announcements so the national media doesn't shite their pants.

The road is now paved.
