DJ Durkin as DC now officially official. He replaces Elko who took a P5 HC job.

Elijah Robinson was promoted from Interior Defensive Line to Asst. Head Coach/Run Game Coordinator/Defensive Line. He had heavy interest from other programs like Penn St. He is also the #1 rated recruiter in the 2022 class per 247.

Tyler Santucci was promoted from Linebackers to Co-DC/Linebackers. While not as prominent a recruiter as Robinson, he's very key in 5* Harold Perkins recruitment.

Both guys played a huge role in not losing a single commit when Elko left and actually added some big names.

Take notes, Lane/Ole Miss.

You kept a murderer on staff.

The dude literally killed one of his players and the team blew up on him and he got fired.

congrats

This statement contradicts itself.

Both A&M and LSU seem to enjoy employing killers

Isn't this the guy who insisted that Aggie could beat LSU with their 2nd and 3rd stringers?

Then lost to LSU's 2nd and 3rd stringers?

So they played glorified bank teller roles. Not impressed.

Don't sell yourself short. You've got the guy that Alabama didn't "pull out the stops to keep."

You know, the one that's married to the organ grinder stripper with an attack monkey on her shoulder.

People said the same thing about Kirby until this year. Only took him 6 top 3 recruiting classes and 5 tries to beat Saban.

Jeff Banks? He was on Sumlin’s staff and not retained by Jimbo. Then Bama hired him. Now he’s somewhere else.

Right. Just gonna overlook the part where the DC left. Topic should read "Unlike some programs A&M pulling out the stops to keep assistants if you ignore the assistants that leave, Durkin now official"

We just fricked you up with our JV squad and shitty 2nd team QB.

Best one of the Mississippi schools and we'll have a conversation boy.

An assistant leaving for a head coaching position is a good thing. This happens to Alabama almost every year. Happening to Georgia this year.

An assistant leaving for a lateral move is not a good thing. Happening to Auburn and Ole Miss this year.
