I agree. 9 out of last 12 is hardly a rivalry

I guess you don't know what a rivalry is when you don't have one. On the field results does not dictate which programs are rivals. auburn and Vandy would be huge rivals if so, 20-20-1

that is exactly his point.. it is not a rivalry. Just like we no longer consider Ole Miss or Tulane a rival due to their ineptness.

Laugh all you want but ESPN is settin y'all up!!! Les has absolutely nothin to lose and a team featuring the honey badger to back him up In the immortal words of Les Miles before he became The Hat- "We're gonna let 'er rip!" This applies to every game against bama. You guys just haven't gotten the message yet

Good point, since LSU's only 2 national championships since the 50's were with our coach or with 2 losses. Whereas Bama's won several, and won one more recently. And when you have your best team ever, it takes 4 missed FG's and bonehead coaching errors and OT to beat Bama, and people still aren't convinced you're better and so they make you play us again. Good point, it's not a rivalry.

I agreed that it is not a rivalry, it is his reasoning that is inaccurate. There are plenty of the biggest rivalries in the country that are one sided on the field, yet they remain big rivals. We seen one yesterday, OU-OSU is very one sided. Bama could beat aub the next thirty years and they would still be one our two biggest rivals.

bama fans better get used to that title, cause that's what LSU will have earned come Jan 10th. While you're elated about being gifted into the title game some of you ought to be thinking about how you're going to beat LSU with McCarron at qb. REALLY. This may be a gift and and a curse

Wow this was really stupid.

Did he basically just call us the 'flagship' of the SEC?

genro- Do you really think it was as simple as 4 missed field goals? I bet you guys won't try 50 yarders again Do you you think Trent gets left wide open in the flat again? It didn't happen in the second half on nov 5, and those 2 catches accounted for more than 100 yards. Do you think we throw back-to-back picks this time? Les would rather shove a hypodermic needle in his eye. He'd rather gain 12 yards IN A HALF before he'd let that happen His qb knows that. Just ask Jarrett Lee. Truth is, WE left the points on the field, and WE played bama's game cause we were never really threatened. Why do anything else? The one time y'all tried to do something E Reid shut that shite down. Nothing will come easy on jan. 9 cause we ain't gonna let one man beat us. Who's gonna pick up the slack? Maze? Sweet arse McCaroon? Can't wait to see 'em try

I've heard this one before from your brethren. Our mistakes were forced, and will get worse. Your mistakes weren't forced, and will be corrected.

50 yard field goals aren't mistakes, they're prayers. Even moreso with lousy kicker[s]
