Based on current NFL players, picked by ESPN.

Dak

That #1 ranking makes him and MS look great, even though it meant nothing.

Can you count Miller if he graduated 2 years before A&M joined the SEC?

There were 6 DBs on the 2019 NFL all-pro first team. Four are listed here. The other two were Marlon Humphrey and Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Peterson was not all-pro

LSU has three DBs in there, and yet they don't have Patrick Peterson, who's been to 8 Pro Bowls in 9 years, and a 3x first team All-Pro. He is literally a Hall of Famer but not good enough for their list.

That's not even a debate... Gilmore is the reigning NFL defensive player of the year. He's clearly the best DB in the bunch right now.

Uhhhhh, yes easily.

I love Peterson but Gilmore has a very strong case for best CB in the league right now. If Gilmore isn't the best, it's probably another LSU alum - Tre White.

I don't disagree, but it's probably a list based off 2019. Gilmore>Peterson in 2019, even if it was b/c PP missed time.
