I've been looking over a lot of team's schedules tonight and I think UK's is very interesting.

Currently 4-1 with Mizzou this weekend. I think UK wins but it's going to be tougher than people think. That puts UK at 5-1.

They then have an interesting three game stretch. UT, OM and @ Vandy. Depending on what happens there, you could go 8-4, 7-5 or 6-6. Hell it's possible you could go 5-7.

I can't believe I found something semi-interesting about UK football.

7-5 is my guess. Only game I see as not winnable is Georgia. We should be atleast competitive in the rest.

7-5 or better in back to back years would be great for the direction of our program.

They'll likely make a low tier bowl, which is fine by Kentucky standards. They'll keep Stoops as long as he makes a bowl more often than not. They aren't exactly hungry for championships in football.

Expectations would start to rise, but hopefully at a reasonable rate. Stoops has proved you can recruit decent talent to Kentucky. If an eventual successor can do the same there is the prospect of 8+ win seasons being the expectation with an occasional title run when things set up right and the injury bug doesn't hit too bad. Whether this is good enough for fans, or they start wanting coaches fired for not getting to Atlanta every year remains to be seen.

After the UF loss there were fans who seemed to want Stoops fired. Some people believe that that is the path to a championship program. I believe it's the path to scaring away any decent coach.

I posted in the prediction thread that it could be as high as 9-3. I think that is still true, but I was expecting a win over Florida at home.

As always with UK they could beat MSU on the road, UT at home, Vandy on the road, Ole Miss at home, and Louisville at home. Or they could lose any or all of them.

I'll stick with 9-3 overall right now, with Georgia being a loss, and then one other, but they could also go 6-6.

Other than a couple of UT fans, stonehog is the most jealous fan on the rant.

More like a need to post on a UK thread, like a few Tiger posters.

Honestly every game left on the schedule is in theory winnable except Georgia. I don't give Kentucky a shot in hell against Georgia this year. Unless our offensive line play improves or the coaches start trusting Stephen Johnson to throw the ball more than 20 times a game I'm guessing 7-5.

Given the recent injury to one of their stud post players, I would take this right now
