UK fans pose as Utah boosters to hop a flight to Lexington

According to the game broadcast, Utah offered spots on the plane to several of its boosters. When head coach Larry Krystkowiak made his way around the plane to thank each booster for their support, he saw two unfamiliar faces in the crowd. “He saw one couple he had never seen before,” ESPN’s Tom Hart said during the game. “So he introduced himself and said, ‘Great to see you guys. I’ve never seen you on these trips before. Are you new to being Utah boosters?'”
“The lady responded, ‘Actually, no. We live in Salt Lake City but we’re Kentucky fans and we couldn’t pass up the trip to fly on the charter to Lexington to watch our Cats.'”

In my experiences, younger UK fans are cool. The ones that get to 50+ are massive douchebags.

Well, they’ve seen a couple national championships since 1980 so they can’t be Georgia coaches.

It was an advertised ticket package deal. Flight, hotel, game tickets, etc. Its not like they were stowaways.

I live in Baton Rouge and follow about everything LSU but basketball. I was born and raised in KY and I have retained my blue blood from Nov to April.
Back when Cal's first team had John Wall they came to the PMAC in Baton Rouge and LSU at the time was terrible. The crowd was 30% UK fans. I asked one UK fan that was sitting in the section across the stair aisle from me where in KY they had come from. He said "we are not from KY, we came in from Texas" The Dallas UK Alumni group had bought the whole section and bused in.
