Yeah, this one is going to be ugly and if we must start conference play in week 1, why not make it a good one? Sorry Vandy, but UGA is loaded.

All the other dawg posters have downvoted me for being a little worried about this game, Vandy always gives us fits at their house.

I can't even imagine what the spread is on this game. Shame Vanderbilt couldn't get one more year out of their experienced QB.

You are absolutely correct, there is literally zero chance Georgia loses this game. Congratulations.

Well you know back in the day Bama used to open SEC play with Vandy often and they would play us tough for 3 quarters but we would almost always pull away in the 4th. We used to say "Vandy will beat some folks this year" but no they rarely did. UGA might have some opening game issues and Vandy might hang around longer than you would like. But UGA is way more talented and the blowout will be on in the 4th. So relax bro. And I guarnatee there will be more UGA fans than Vandy fans, so don't give me that road crap.

45-14 in 2017.

Have they improved that much since 2017?

I honestly don't know. UGA will blow them off the line and run at will. And when they bring their guys in the box, Fromm will go over the top.

I mean, if I was an opposing coach my entire philosophy would be: Take as much time as physically possible off of the clock, hope to hold Georgia to a few field goals here and there and hope that I can sustain drives.

That's what Muschamp did/does, and at times you can beat superior teams by simply making the game shorter.

That's literally the only reason I can think of.

I think you’re thinking circa 2017 Muschamp.... Muschamp last year and this year has fully embraced the spread HUNH offense. Last year a Muschamp offense averaged 273ypg passing and 160ypg rushing and had an exact even number of run/pass attempts.

If mistakes and defense get that game to the 4th, anything can happen.

Once in the 4th, UGA's depth will take over and Vandy will be tired. If it is anything like past Vandy SEC openers I remember.
