What was Beal's draft stock looking like? I assume his thought is he can continue his 2nd half success once he came in for Anderson into 2022 and have a better shot at a much higher selection in the 2022 Draft?
I'd assume he probably went from undrafted to 5th round over the last 5 games. Being able to start next year will give him a real shot at making serious money

Nolan Smith coming back too. I think we're going to be ok.

Comparable to when Calvin Ridley missed most of his HS senior season because he turned 20.

He was the 107th ranked recruit in the 2017 class.
He got some action in backup as a redshirt freshman in 2018 and then it was almost exclusively special teams for 2019 and 2020.
At 6'4" 255 lbs, he has the size. I think his on field success is about being relentless. UGA fans dont think of some other worldly getoff (not bad, but doesnt stand out). He doesnt bull rush through blockers. He just finishes extremely efficiently. He is under control.
I dont expect him to blow up a combine. Right now, i would expect 6th/7th round.
After another year, who knows?
His age doesnt help the draft stock (22 year old beating up on 18/19 year olds). He has an offseason to fine tune 3 pass rush moves. If he can do that, he could be a 2nd rounder (nfl overvalues pass rush). If i had to guess right now for the 2023 draft, i would say 4th rounder.

i remember when we used to have to resort to stuff like this.
I remember my first championship too. And my 2nd, and 3rd, and 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. It's been quite a ride so far
Let them have some fun, I mean most of them were not born for the last championship. Enjoy Dawg fans.

Kind of surprising he led the team with only 6.5 sacks. Georgia played 3 post season games too.

We spread the stats all around.

I am starting to feel better and better about our ability to have a top 10 defense in the country next year with these guys coming back for another year.
Our offense is already gonna be a TD or so better imo (we had a top 10-15 offense last year already).
2022 has a chance to be a repeat.

In 2022?
Duh. NOOOoooooOOO.. This is the year Beal would have finished 4th on Alabama's defense in sacks.
Why in the world would you think 2022?

After all it took Georgia's best team ever to finally win one and even then they got smacked in their conference championship game
2 of Alabama's national Championships came to them after not winning their conference, or even their division. You sure you want to go there?

Alabama fan takes a shot at Georgia and when we defend ourselves you act like we are out of line.
We won the National Championship against your team and we haven't been running around rubbing it in, but apparently some Alabama fans can't help themselves and have to take shots at us.
I mean....if you would like we can release the Kraken and show you what we could be like.
And, ftr? I was born long before our 1980 Championship. And I am enjoying this one.

You won 7 championships? You didn’t win anything. The Bama football team did though.

He must like school
He was semi-stuck behind Nolan Smith and Adam Anderson. He got some decent playing time, but not a to.
Once Anderson was out of the picture Beal took a bigger role. he can be one that could really benefit by coming back and showing what he is capable of doing in a spotlight role.

Yikes. Didn’t think the “don’t say we you, weren’t on the roster” types still existed lol

Is he going to be eligible for Social Security when he graduates.
Well I personally managed to not leave higher education til I was in my early mid-thirties, and I have to say, it was like taking retirement in your twenties when you can still thoroughly enjoy the travel and fun.

He had alot of trouble getting snaps before this season. I mean he's serviceable but I think the two five star DEs are going to push him out by years end.
He's great depth don't get me wrong. He needs to show he can play meaner for the NFL to take him seriously in the draft.
