lol, why would you throw a beer can. if it's empty, it won't go anywhere. if it's full you're wasting a beer.

bottles, sir, bottles.

Well I went to school and played football with him at Briarcrest in Memphis ... I know him and his family very well, his brother plays/ed for UGA as well, and I find it very hard to believe this would be the reason he was kicked off if in fact that is true.

I'm not saying that it didn't happen but unless I saw a presser from Richt or the man himself I wouldn't believe this at all.

The Longs have always seemed like straight shooters to me

They are ... his dad was one of our football coaches, he was a great amazing guy that was full of character.

He was very knowledgeable as well, I can't remember where but he played in the NFL (Offensive Line) at either Kansas City or Denver I believe. Great family brought up in a Christian home so I find all of this hard to believe.

footballs a violent game, violent players are one way to go about winning. Not sure I want Tennessee following that route, but it's Richt's perogative so who am I to judge.

Only 2 commandments really.

I don't know anything about Long being dismissed, but he was projected to be y'all's starter at RG going into the spring, wasn't he?

I saw where rivals had him on the current 2 deep as well.

His brother, Hunter, has been getting more PT at Guard. Austin has generally been more of a tackle. As it stands Kenarious Gates and Chris Burnette are our starting Guards with H. Long, Greg Pyke, and Dallas Lee competing for the rotation.

At Tackle, Xzavier Ward/John Theus are currently listed as the Right Tackle competition, though many expect that Theus will fight for and win the LT spot outright, thus allowing Gates to assume his natural position at Guard. The backups there are Zach Debell, Austin Long, and Watts Dantzler. Then there are three freshmen who should redshirt (unless Kublanow is the damn hoss everyone believes him to be and he commands PT).

ETA:

What the OL could look like if everything pans out

LT
So. John Theus
RSo. Watts Dantzler
Jr. Mark Beard

LG
Sr. Kenarious Gates
Sr. Dallas Lee
Fr. Aulden Bynum

C
Jr. David Andrews
So. Preston Mobley
Fr. Brandon Kublanow

RG
Sr. Chris Burnette
So. Hunter Long
RFr. Greg Pyke

RT
RSo. Xzavier Ward
RSo. Zach Debell
Sr. Austin Long
Fr. Josh Cardiello

Maybe a little less bullshitting and a little more football.

Wouldn't it benefit us to move Gates to RT that way we can still start Lee?

Ward has been coming on strong and might beat out Theus at RT. I don't see anyone beating Gates out at LT, regardless.

So I guess my question is how much more will the LSU DL dominate the UGA OL on September 28th now?
Not going to happen.

There are 7 Bray-sums...those are only 2. You left out:

3. Drivest thou watercraft at another and soaketh the other with thine spray.

4. Slasheth thine throat at thine enemy before the contest is won, then crieth like a little girl when victory is delivered to the other.

5. Make thine back like the night sky, with 4 stars affixed with under thine skin. Maketh not 5 stars, nor 3...maketh ye only 4.

6. Looseth ye to Kentucky and Vandy. Thinkest ye not like thine predecessors, who may loseth to one and not the other, or loseth to the other, yet not the one. Looseth ye to both.

7. Choketh ye at the end of the ballgame, giving thine fans thirst for victory that be not quinched.
