Well, your original point was look this guy is just some dumb blogger. He's not quite that. However, no, this doesn't represent UGA. It's just a dumb article.
As someone said above, he's also a pretty good journalist. I used to read his SEC stuff when he was at the Macon paper (isn't that where he was?). This wreaks of being forced to compete for page clicks. I'm guessing he wishes he could yank that thing down.
