It will mean so much more to AU fans. An undisciplined thug who would have been arrested for assault if his cheap shots had occurred anywhere other than on a football field kinda sums up the AU program. Bet he looked really cute with his new hairstyle after UGA decided to restyle his do.

He is the poster boy for AU football. Payback was tough for AU. The next season UGA destroyed and totally humiliated them. Without their bought and paid for QB and the “rules and common decency don’t matter to me” Nick Farley they were helpless to stop it. Georgia fans cheered every hit and every TD we laid on them that day. Some actually lost their voices from so much cheering. It was brutal. And to this day UGA remembers that cheap shot game with AUs pretender NC team. It’s a great motivator that is still providing a lot of extra fire after all these years.
UGA and AU have gone thru a lot of ups and downs in our historic rivalry but that Nick Farley, Can Newton game set a new low for AU. Until then AUs loss to UGA and a second string QB, resulted in them turning fire hoses into the stands and hosing Dawg fans in 40 degree weather was probably the lowest point. But trying to deliberately injure a QB after he is down and defenseless was a new low. Even for AU. Murray was so badly injured he had to sleep sitting up for a week. And they are PROUD of this! Says a lot about AU.
I expect Nick was doing a bit of hurting himself after UGA decided to express our displeasure at his behavior. A handful of his dreadlocks was last seen attached to a ceiling fan. Ouch!

I was there buddy. Saw it with my own eyes. It was assault and the worst type of thuggish behavior. But what else do any of us expect. It’s Auburn. AU was lucky the UGA crowd didn’t rush the field. Never seem our crowd so angry
