Thanks. Been a long time coming. Definitely the year of the Dawg this year. Special group of players who all bought in and made it happen.

I've waited 41 years for this. My freshman year in college was ... 1980. 
To win the national title, have a UGA QB win the Super Bowl and then dominate the NFL draft ... well, I might could wait another 41 years. It's worth it.

Hell, for all the shite UGA/ATL sports get, things have been pretty great over the last 7 years.
-Dawgs have been to 2 NCG’s and won one.
-Braves won the World Series and went to another NLCS
-Falcons went to a Super Bowl
-Hawks have been to the ECF twice
-Atlanta United won the MLS Cup
Lost in the heartbreak of 2nd and 26 and 28-3 is the fact that sports in this state have been damn good for almost a decade now, which is pretty unprecedented when you look at our history, especially in pro sports.
…well, except for Tech, but that’s just icing on the cake for me
-Dawgs have been to 2 NCG’s and won one.
-Braves won the World Series and went to another NLCS

It is a great time to be a fan of the University of Georgia, and really has been since Mark Richt took over our football program. But lately ... even better.

Things were very good once Richt took over the program - he averaged 10 wins a year for 15 years - now they are great with Kirby. Six years, top recruiting every year, 2 playoffs, Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl and other bowl wins, SEC and East championships, 2 wins over ND and 2 NC appearances and now a national title. It’s great to be a Dawg
