Average ticket price to a Home Game in 2019:

1. Georgia - $487

2. Ohio St - $352

3. Michigan - $285

4. Notre Dame - $276

5. Alabama - $249

6. Nebraska - $232

7. Auburn - $225

8. USC - $223

9. LSU - $221

10. Florida - $218

I'm happy A&M isn't on this list.

If we were on the list, it would mean Clemson, UGA, and LSU were at home, so I'm torn.

Considering the facilities and the great atmosphere, A&M could be on that list and it would be worth every penny. Even if they’re playing the little sisters of the poor u.. A&M has done an amazing job with their facilities.

And one can only imagine why attendance is greatly down... couple in the two night hotel minimum at 200% the normal rate and pay to play tailgating within two miles of the stadium

That's not really a good thing when you look at declining attendance nationwide. Pricing young alumni out of season tickets is shortsighted. I wish Carolina would cut prices, they make enough with the TV money not to gouge us on tickets. Give me a full stadium with cheap tickets versus high prices and empty seats.

Plus, it's July. See what prices do the week before the game when people are actually trying to get rid of the tickets they don't want/need.

It isn't about season ticket prices from the school. His prices are from 3rd party markets like stubhub. Price is driven by demand.

The people insinuating that the university is somehow charging this price are dumb. We DO have terrible "total cost of ownership" on tickets right now... but these prices are explicitly based on the average secondary market price... Biggest reason is 2 "unicorn" home games in Notre Dame (first time in Athens) and Texas A&M (first time since they joined the conference to play them period)...

The rest of the home schedule is pretty meh and prices are more or less in-line with expectations.

Arguably, for people to be dumb here, there would have to be a shortage of takers... if the secondary market will bear it out, it would seem like the market is working the way it's supposed to.

If I've bought season tickets forever and I either have more than I need or can't attend one of these two "unicorn" games, why on earth would I not use that as an opportunity to recoup some of my total cost of ownership on the season ticket package.

Secondary market prices are determined solely by supply/demand among buyers and sellers not affiliated with the university. It doesn't have anything to do with UGA pricing out fans.

Say it a little louder for the idiots, please. I like knocking other fans, schools, and teams as much as anyone. Is it just the nerd in me that I prefer those digs are defensible and not easily ripped apart?
