they trusted a FG kicker that was for UGA's case a poor record and Stanford FG guy was a freshman. I don't even think its fair to put that kind of pressure on them unless they are proven like the OkSt FG guy. Shula did the same thing to Tiffin when he was a freshman in an Arkansas game.

With all that fire power at QB you should never trust an unproved FG kicker.

Still surprises me that coaches don't get the clue that most college kickers are freaking terrible. Might as well just go for it unless the FG is less than 40 yards, and even then they aren't very consistent.

Can you imagine having Andrew Luck as your QB and not use him just so you could put the game in the hands of a freshman kicker?

I know both situations would have left me furious if I was a fan of either team. With qbs like murray and Luck you've got to go for the win! And I agree with the other poster about college kickers for the most part they suck.

Sucky kickers seem to be very common at schools that wear shades of red and white.

You should really get your anger issues checked out. All you ever do is talk about Bama fans being trashy when in essence you are probably just as bad. Seek some help, Kid

Still got a ways to go on the anger I see. Just remember to take it easy, its dangerous for someone your age to become enraged as often as you do.

Shula did that shite with a freshman kicker at Arkansas and it cost us in OT also. He didn't have a chance. 3 yrs later the kid was great and I would have trusted him in any situation then. But not as a freshman.
