Had to be the wildest instant mood swing ever. UGA fans thinking that they're gonna win on 2nd and 26, then Tua says, "hold my pineapples, bitches." Even Bama fans were looking at each other like, "did that just happen?"

Craziest mood swing I've ever had.

Tua in hindsight wasn’t as much of a world beater as advertised (or perhaps it was just locksley’s basic arse system idk) but I think he was a benchmark player in Alabama history that will always be remembered and legendary nonetheless.

I think even Greg mcelroy sat there with his jaw dropped and said "that did not just happen."

Tua was always overrated. The guy made a living off of throwing slants to one of the best WR cores in the country. Mac Jones is much better.

You don't have to pretend Tua wasn't and isn't an incredibly accurate passer. His receiving corp being elite didn't help him put the ball exactly where it was supposed to be (much like Mac Jones) on the vast majority of his throws. Tua deserves a lot of credit.

Tua gets the credit, but DeVonta Smith also made a hell of a catch, and he made it look casual. Ice cold given the situation.

I remember thinking that it was 4 down territory with our kicking so no need to try for a chunk play on 2nd down. Just pick up 10, then try to get another 10 on 3rd down and re-evaluate.

If you look at that play, the TE was open across the middle and I saw that before Smitty. I was thinking "he's open! hit him" for what would've been about 15 yards. Worked out ok doing it Tua's way too.

Wasn’t a mood swing for me. I always thought we would lose and we should’ve lost earlier when that kicker missed the chip shot

I think Locksley was too invested in ESPN highlights when sometimes just take what the defense gives you

Same. He got sacked, I stepped away and returned just in time to see it. Talk about 0-60 in .8 seconds.

Alabama’s offense was so bad in the first half.

what people fail to acknowledge about Tagovailoa, even a lot of Alabama fans, is that he played injured since about the middle of the season in each of his 2nd and 3rd years. An injury will impact a quarterback's entire game, physical and mental

Great quarterback, horrible injury luck

Yeah, the sack was a real kick in the nuts knowing that we were out of field goal range, even before it occurred.
