Just noticed today that this game is In two weekends from now. Pretty damn exciting. UF fans - are you glad to be kicking off the season a week early?

Good from an exposure perspective. Fans are ready for college football and this will be the only game on that night. Recruits will also watch.

I really hope UF wins it, for our SOS, being SEC, etc. but I do want it to be a good football game. I was bored with the LSU-Miami game beyond a certain point.

Depends. If we come out and shite the bed...no. It's a whole week of that being the talk of CFB.
As long as we beat them handily which we should do, it's fantastic. Everyone will be watching and no games to split viewership. Could be a huge boost to the perception of Florida early on which helps later in the season.
