Florida is a much better job than UCLA. Only difference is SoCal vs well, Florida.

Chip could live in Westwood with way less pressure, or he could live in Gainesville and kiss the ring with boosters. surely he doesn't have to mull over those options for long

Damn they fired him on his birthday

Yeah this is a Chip Kelly or BUST situation if I’ve ever seen one

Yep. And just pure speculation on my part, if Ole Miss gets a bowl ban, I have a hunch Ta'amu winds up there.
Obviously I can't speak to Kelly's thinking, or Ta'amu's.
But he is tailor made for Kelly's Oregon offense. If he got there for spring practice, PAC could be really interesting next year.

That's a pretty fricking big difference.

You think there'd be no pressure? Are you crazy? UCLA is getting stomped on a yearly basis now by USC and they are not a factor in the Pac10 any longer. There's going to be immense pressure on him to get that fixed.

that's absurd to suggest Chip would face equally as much pressure at UCLA as he would at Florida
When I say "less pressure", i'm not saying he can go 6-6 every year and clear 5 million in checks. he needs to win but the standards are far different. ucla would neer have a coach win his division three straight years and fire him for example

Florida was never getting Kelly.

It would be one step closer to a Rose Bowl.
