Your salary sure is worth more in the state of FL as compared to CA.

Less pressure than UF and an easier conference to win a
championship in but not better facilities, money etc.

I've always considered UCLA to be a sleeping giant. SoCal produces a helluva lot of talent and they all cannot go to USC.
UCLA has a lot of things going for it. Location and academics for starters as well as having the Rose Bowl as your home field.

Los Angeles > anything in the SEC footprint, strictly by numbers alone, but
Location is listed as a major problem for UCLA Football.
The coaching staff have 1+ hour commutes just to get to the facilities every day. That's tough for a profession known for late nights and long hours

Better weather to work in.

better job? hard to say
Florida has the recruiting advantage, but would expect more out of their coach.
UCLA IMO is the easier job. Safer

The upside is much better at UCLA. If a coach wins it all there, it will be attached to his legacy alone.
At Florida, the new guy will have to share everything with the visor wearing retard and the other guy that faked an illness to sneak out of town like a child.

Depends on the coach.
The “easiest path” to the final four will have a lot to do with a coaches decision.
Winning the PAC 10 is easier than winning the SEC.
Chip Kelly could struggle winning the SEC East with Georgia coming back to relevance, and hopefully Tennessee coming back!

Not if they live in Brentwood or Westwood...Brentwood is about 15 min drive and Westwood is right there on campus.
Why would coaches want to live in another area of LA with a longer commute?

not even close to as good a job but if someone prefers the west coast (as Chip seems to) then i could see them taking UCLA.
different people have different motivations and value certain things differently than other.

I would say UCLA, it is going to take a lot of pieces of the puzzle to come together to win championships on the regular and keep fla fans happy.

Florida is a top 5 job. UCLA isn’t too 10.

Chip just might prefer to be a millionaire in LA than a small town in Florida. Also, easier path to the CFB playoff coming from the PAC 12.

People confuse better resources for better job. UF hated a coach who won 2 division championships in his first two seasons. At UCLA if you win 9-10 games you are set for life and get to live in LA instead of Gainsville. I am not saying UCLA is a better job, but not every coach would take UF over UCLA.

Better job for a West coast guy like Chip Kelly. Otherwise, no.
