Somebody will hire Bill Clark next year.

If Tennessee had any sense they hire him.

Lol. They threw the program under the bus by publicly claiming Tennessee had committed major NCAA infractions. Just so they could fire Coach asparagus to hire....

If LSU is a dumpster fire then I'd hate to know what you think of Ole Miss.

Clark keeps getting mentioned on boards but it seems that he hasn’t been considered for any of the recent openings. Auburn and TN were not interested, so why would LSU be?

There is one named Tommy who post during football season. He hates Saban. I think he grew up a Bama fan, but went to UAB. Anyway, he seems to feel betrayed and thinks that Saban and Bama tried to kill UAB's footall prgram.

The fact that UAB still has a football program is a travesty and a miscarriage of justice. They are costing the university system millions of dollars to build an "on-campus" stadium that will draw the same crowds that showed up to watch them at Legion Field. More people will show up for the 6A and 7A state championship games than will show up for a UAB Blazers game.

Yep, that was my thought after reading the thread title. I also think Napier probably could have taken AU or UT this year, but he is waiting to geaux to BR.

I'm a UAB alum and fan who grew up as and still is a Bama fan also.

I honestly thought the Auburn job this year was going to go to Clark. Since that didn't happen, I'm not convinced he will leave unless someone just throws crazy money at him.

I don't think so. Don't underestimate the lure of newness in a sports program. Especially a stadium. Uptown Birmingham is thriving right now. At least before covid. If they do well as they have been and be able to get power 5 to their stadium...If South Ala can get Ole Miss, Miss State, NC State, Oklahoma State to play in Mobile. No reason UAB can't be able to do the same. Just think about UAB vs Virginia Tech/Georgia Tech in downtown Birmingham even with an Alabama home game in Tuscaloosa that would still be a good fan draw for them
