U11 y'all would be CRAZY to fire Butch

11 went 5-7, 5-7, 7-6, 9-4, 9-4 and could 8-4 - 6-6 this season and likely win a lower tier bowl game as usual.
Just face it.. you're a cyclically good team now..that's just what you are.. after Phulmer and Kramer left it was a foregone conclusion this is why Phats was in a hurry to bury Bama.
The expansion of the SEC clearly negatively affects your talent pool... the lack of in state talent obviously doesn't help especially since the Memphis area couldn't care less about U11.
There are NO homerun hires out there for you... maybe Gruden could be but it would be more about him than the actual school.
If U11 doesn't keep Butch at least one more season they will be doomed.. Coaches will see if U11 would fire a coach who won 9 games in back to back seasons had the program on the rise and dropped him in a rebuilding year. Doesn't look good. Butch needs next season to see if this is just a down year... all teams have them.. Bama used to.

Tennessee has recruited fine under Butch, even did under Dooley
