Tyson Campbell: What's wrong with him?

UGA fans I thought this kid would be a stud CB coming out of high school and I wanted him and Surtain to come to Bama. I thought Campbell would be a better player by now with his physical attributes. What's the problem? Is he an underachiever? Or, does UGA have a player development issue?

Clown post.
Other than falling down on the Waddle TD I thought he played ok. Tyrique Stevenson is the guy who played really bad.
He’s been lights out all year and shut down Seth Williams.

He’s a solid corner. Just got beat by great WRs in one on one coverage. Happens every week in the pros.

Derek Stingley is the best cornerback in the country and he looked bad against Alabama last year. Diggs got abused by LSU last year and was an early pick and is a starting CB as a rookie in the NFL.
Playing CB against an elite offense with great receivers is really frickin hard and you are going to get beat some.

Not to mention Bama got several defensive holding penalties while Pickens is getting driven out of bounds and nothing.
You have to allow some physicality vs that type of wr to hold the competitive balance between offense and defense.

Agree. AJ Terrell was the third cb taken in the first round of the NFL drat. Chase abused him in the Natty game. It happens.

Williams is an AU WR and a nonfactor in Gus’ system. They thoroughly suck.
Color me unimpressed.
