How? I didn't rat them out, they did this too themselves.

Come on, man....the only person on this board trying to make this a serious incident is you.

I posted a gif of Ralphie with an AK47...are you serious?
I mentioned that they were charged with felonies, b/c they are charged with felonies....

You're just upset and lashing out, looking for someone to blame. You need to calm down.

and supposedly it was solo cups, their dorm room walls and door. Either way, he splattering bullshite about $5,000 in damages because he can't read. Also, 2nd degree could be charged if recklessly or intentionally, causing damage to someone else’s property. That would fit either rumor, wouldn't it, without being $5,000. Also, they can charge if $500 or more was done to property.

Well, common sense would also tell you that shooting a BB gun in your college dorm would fall under the "bad idea, don't do that" category right?

Sure, but a felony? Is this worth ruining their lives over? This is pretty ridiculous.

The more things change. The more they stay the same. Anyone got a link to the current Fulmer Cup standings? Looks like another off season National Championship is in the cards for the gaggers. Also should do wonders for my prediction on CockInYourEar's thread. Keep up the good work mutts! Some of us are counting on you. Lol

I'm perfectly calm. You are the one trying to make something out of nothing. Other posters have noticed it. Now you want to crawfish back and try to say, "Just funnin'?"

You are still upset over being booted from the UGA Board, aren't you?

How so?

I guess things could be worse...our starting QB could be kicking people's faces at bars.

Slight difference. Ours were shooting at Solo Cups. Your guys were shooting them at people in other cars......soooo.....let's not climb up on that high horse too quick. You might fall off and get hurt.

Mighty defensive aren't you? I never said they were the same or that Georgia should kick their players off. I just said it would be interesting to see how Georgia handles the situation. Lighten up, Francis.

They should run stadium steps until the coaches puke and pay for whatever they damaged, and that should be the end of it.

I wonder what is spelled out in the University's code of conduct. People always gave richt hell for sitting people out for alcohol offenses without realizing he has zero control over that. It's clearly spelled out in the UGA handbook that players HAD to miss a specific amount of time for certain offenses.

I wonder what language is included regarding gun arrests, or felonies (if those stick). If most things are dropped or lessened, I would hope it'd be kirby's call and he should exercise common sense and just handle it internally. But I fear that he won't have that freedom.

Why would the coaches puke if the players were runnig the stadiums? Or are you saying the coaches should run stadiums to pay for the sins of their players?

Intersting strategy if you meant the latter. Very interesting.

I didn't start this thread, I just posted in it. They were arrested for felony weapons charges....Did you think that the SECrant would not want to talk about that?

I haven't thought of that for a very long time. Considering how sensitive some of y'all are on this board, doesn't surprise anyone that it happened.

It's an expression one of my coaches used to use.

Basically, it means you're going to be running for awhile because the coaches don't have any reason to puke anytime soon.

I know that's not what he intended, but would be funny to see Pittman and Chaney looking a bit more svelte after the offseason. They get a call from Bert: "What the hell kinda diet did you guys go on?" Pittman/Chaney: "ACCPD approved exercise regimen"

https://conduct.uga.edu/code_of_conduct/codeofconduct.pdf

quote:

7. Weapons
1. Possessing firearms, explosives, other
weapons, or dangerous chemicals on
University property unless permitted by law.
The weapons policy can be found
at LINK

_the link in the quote is bad.

https://police.uga.edu/campus-safety/safety-tips/weapons-on-campus-info -this one has the info though

quote:

The University Police Department is taking many steps to work toward our mission of providing a safe and secure environment for the entire University community. As a part of this mission we promote safety on campus by providing education about and enforcing the Georgia weapons on campus laws.

The University of Georgia is designated as a school safety zone. This means that it is illegal to possess any explosive compound or weapon in or on any property owned or used by the University of Georgia. This includes residence halls, fraternity and sorority houses on campus and UGA owned vehicles. It can be a felony to break this law, and the penalties can be severe.

quote:

Weapons come in many forms, and simply possessing one these objects can be considered a violation of the law. Unless an exception is expressly granted in O.C.G.A 16-11-127.1, the following items are prohibited on campus:

Pistol, revolver, or any weapon designed or intended to propel a missile of any kind (this includes air soft, paintball, BB or pellet guns, potato guns and other such homemade devices)...bludgeon-type weapon
Nun chahka, nun chuck, nunchaku, shuriken
Throwing star or oriental dart

thanks, google.

This is a bunch of bullshite. What makes a cop so vindictive that they'd try to ruin a kids life over some trivial crap like shooting bb guns indoors?

According to *rumors* on other boards, this isn't really the cops fault. *apparently* they were shooting the bb gun but also did some damage to an elevator in the building. A maintenance worker (or some building employee) saw the fricked up elevator and called the police, and they took over from there.

This isn't the standard ACCPD situation where they're camped out downtown waiting to bust jaywalkers.
