As for it being a joke it's a felony, I think the thought behind it was along the lines of the fact if you rob a bank with a toy gun or a BB gun it's still armed robbery. If someone is walking around campus with a gun, the other people on campus may not be aware it's just a BB gun.
They weren't walking around campus. They were in their dorm room. And this is why we know you aren't just "curious". You keep adding to the story to make it seem much worse. You and CIYE.
And they are already saying the charges could be dropped or at the very least greatly reduced.

Wow. Still coming back for more?
The swimmer reported it to University employees, and chose not report it to the police. And, you forgot to mention the mental problems she had was depression suffered after she was raped.
(Newser) – Sasha Menu Courey, a swimmer at the University of Missouri, committed suicide in 2011—16 months after she was allegedly raped by a football player. A 16-month investigation by ESPN finds that the university knew about the incident but neither investigated it nor informed law enforcement of it—despite the fact that Title IX requires schools to investigate any alleged sexual violence, even after the alleged victim's death. And that's not all: While in counseling for depression after the alleged rape,

As for Beckham-Green? Did you forget the part about him punching a woman and knocking her down a set of stairs...or are you just doing it the Missouri way and covering important stuff up?
Or how about these?
• Former tailback Derrick Washington was sentenced for five years in prison in 2011 for felony deviate sexual assault against a female student. He served four months.
• Basketball guard Michael Dixon transferred within hours of a second rape accusation in two days coming to light according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
• Swimmer Sasha Menu Courey allegedly was sexually assaulted by football players. She subsequently committed suicide. Her plight became a national story earlier this year.

Make sure you don't fall off that high horse, now.

Fair enough, but Jonathan Taylor's case is still open as are these two obviously. Let's wait and see if thug U can uphold their reputation.

Just so we are straight....Missouri covers up rape, and has had a player convicted, yet Georgia is Thug U?
Crap man.....you just won't learn, will you? nobody came after Missouri. Nobody even mentioned Missouri until you decided to butt in and start throwing accusations around about Georgia.

Did a rape occur at Missouri? Was it reported to university Administration? Was it reported to the Police?

I didn't say he was convicted of rape, did I? For the record, it was felony deviate sexual assault . You were talking about felonies, were you not?

Let me see....so many directions to go here. We have two players arrested for shooting a BB gun in their dorm room. Missouri has players arrested for Rape and felony sexual deviate assault. Yep we are MUCH worse.

You're a fricking idiot. Julian was basically a giant teddy bear. If anything he is soft and a mommas boy.

Oh my God, are you simple-minded or something? My post had nothing to do with this incident, it was a direct reply to the guy asking how a BB gun possession could be a felony. I merely stated why such rules are in place.

Have these thugs done their stadium steps yet? If so, it's time to move on.

They weren't just shooting in their dorm room. Damages were reported throughout the dorm.

I've posted some things that came to light, like this.

While there, they also noticed several BBs on the floor of the hallway outside the room, as well as a BB lodged in a hallway light diffuser, and another located in the drywall. A custodian had also advised that she had “cleaned up several BBs from the hallway adjacent” to the rooms, and in the elevators.

At that point, another search warrant was sought and obtained for the bedrooms. It was in the bathroom of what was identified as Bedroom A – belonging to Clay – that suspected marijuana remnants were found, along with a red and clear glass bong and a grinder. The police report states that the “baggie did not contain a sufficient amount of marijuana for testing, therefore no charges were filed concerning this item.”

Kim Stephens, an Athens defense attorney representing the two players, said the players were shooting solo cups in their dorm room with a Daisy BB gun, which left marks on the door and in other areas of the room. (Solo cups are never mentioned din the 20-page incident report,

Sorry. It included the area adjacent to them. Throughout the dorm, though? Hardly.

It didn't say the alcohol was in their dorm room. And the drug stuff was not enough for anybody to be arrested. We got some hard core felons on our hands.
However, I will concede that the chances are probably pretty good that they, or at least Clay, had some marijuana in his room.

Hey....this is totally off subject from the thread...but I gotta ask you about your name. CockInYourEar. How did you think of it, or what is the story behind it, if you don't mind saying?

Don't get too settled. This has been beaten to death, and I assume everybody is getting bored with it. Let's face it....no school has a whole lot to crow about when it comes to players getting in trouble.....but we all have to troll the offending school a bit, don't we?
Posted on 4/12/16 at 4:45 pm to CockInYourEar
I gotta tell you though.....20 page incident report?
They must go into some pretty in depth detail with those things!

UGA is pretty hardcore about responses to crime on campus - what's the school's position on felonies by athletes? I think they may be automatically suspended until they aren't charged with a felony. A ban from campus housing is a certainty.

Merryjuana!!!! Clutch my pearls! Those drug addicts will be murdering for drug money!!!
