I don’t think they love the spotlight. They’re just plain bad all around. The SEC refs are woefully inept considering how much money the conference makes. All the schools know it’s bad yet not a damn one will ever be willing to give up a portion of the TV money in order to better train and compensate the officials for various SEC sports b/c they know we’re going to watch regardless.

This game is a perfect illustration of why we need to switch to quarters. Both teams being in the bonus for 11 minutes is nuts.
