How much is disclosed to the NFL about long term prognosis etc.?
Does each team send their own doctors to him to evaluate?
Does he have to allow access to his records?

He doesn't have to, but NFL teams don't have to draft him without them either

He’s signed with agent Leigh Steinberg, one of the most respected agents in the business. Has represented 8 Number 1 NFL draft picks. I think GMs will trust him to be totally transparent. If he fudged he’d lose his reputation, I’d think. Don’t know the actual rules about it.

I'll guarantee you this:
Before any team uses their 1st round draft pick on him (or ANYBODY with a serious injury), their own doctors will examine him along with all his medical records.

I hope he is able to play.
I keep thinking about Bo Jackson whose injury was similar.
Is there a timeline for potential recovery?
Will he be able to have a pro day before draft?

Tua many injuries inflicted by Saban to take a chance on

I thought they said his injury was a lot less complex than initially thought. As for Bo Jackson... people need to realize how long ago that was in terms of sports medicine. Back then a simple ACL ended your career because fixing it was nowhere near what we can do today. While it would still be a dangerous injury, even a Bo Jackson injury wouldn't be the same in terms of outlook and I don't think Tua has anything like that. It just looked bad.

Bo sustained a blood restriction issue in addition to the fracture. No indication of that complication with Tua.

Tua’s injury is similar to Bo’s. But like you said medicine has advanced. They were able to get it back in place in the stadium which they didn’t do with Bo.
Apparently that’s huge when it comes to recovering from the injury.
I also think it takes a while to see the long term effects of that injury also so we might not know yet.
