Hopefully he’s realized Saban doesn’t care about him, his health, or future career. Nick would break that poor kid’s other hip if it meant a shot at the playoffs.

He's doing this for one of two reasons. To announce his return or suck the oxygen out of the locker room with an announcement he's declaring.
There's no reason for him to announce he's declaring ahead of the other elite players that'll be doing the same thing in January.
Right now, I'll assume he's announcing his return. We'll see though.

Saban usually holds a press conference for all the juniors leaving early at one time. By him holding this press conference, means to me he’s coming back. Tua doesn’t seem like the type to hold his own press conference away from the group to announce he’s going to enter the draft.

Bama fans will try to assign some ulterior motive to saying this, but I really don't think that kid should play college again. I personally don't see Bama legitimately winning it all next year with the sheer turnover they are confronting, either way. I guess there could be something I'm missing with his recovery timeline.
