Not sure I see where he is coming from here in this media days interview although it's hard not to respect his poise and demeanor. Also funny hearing him talk about playing for Nick Saban it sounds like working for the worst boss ever.
Tua on Saban

Who is "it's good" and why is Tua thanking him/her?

As long as he can sling it, i dont care what he says.

With that said, losing in 2008 was our catalyst to 2009. 2014 was our 2015 catalyst. 2016 was our 17 catalyst. U hate to lose but honestly it has broke our take it for granted attitude we tend to buy into after winning 20 something games in a row that we reel off. Probably more than any other team, losing a game tends to help Bama.
Bryants teams were the same way.

Well it depends on what your expectations are and what you want out of college football as to whether Saban is a good boss or bad boss. If you just want to compete and share in the Saturday excitement and sorta take it as it comes then you likely wouldn't choose Saban as your coach. If you want to make a career out of professional football or become a coach then he is undoubtedly the best choice. Or if you enjoy playing college football and getting an education and a degree then he is no question the best choice. Since his school graduates their players period. You are going to work and you are going to graduate if you stick with it and don't go pro early.
