Think we know why the second half was a struggle yesterday.

Dude is going to be in worse shape than Muhammad Ali by the time his career is over if this keeps up.

I'd love to see Tua play some more in the NFL But this Miami coach is not going to make that possible is he?

When did he get hit? If Miami sent him out in the second half AFTER his head was dinged, AGAIN, then someone needs to lose his job.

coaches are more disposable than players and it's their job to win.
tua is getting carried by the coaches and skill guys on his team anyways.

Honestly would not blame him a bit if he took the Andrew Luck path. Brutal.

I hate it for him. He's such a good player and he obviously wants to play football, but I'm not so sure his body is going to endure the punishment.

His biggest weakness has always been decision making, this surely can't help.

I’d blame him if he didn’t. Dude should retire after this season.

His father flew into Miami just to cane him for his second half

All the money in the world doesn’t help if you have permanent brain damage. Some sad stories out there.

PS: I think Troy Aikman has some level of it. He sometimes sounds not right.

I agree, wish he would retire now and have a chance to enjoy the rest of his life.

There are all very wise, measured, sensible posts full of empathy and kindness. I've never seen tRant this way. Did you all get an extra dose of Christmas spirit yesterday or what?

Regardless of opinions about his ability, Tua is a likeable person. Only a douche would not have sympathy for him.

This place certainly has no shortage of douches, so the thread thus far has been a nice change of pace.

Always liked Jalen and Tua. Seem like good guys who grew up well with great parents.

On the other hand, having Hill helps and Smith. But to say it's all on them is complete horseshite.

Tua is a helluva QB.

Man I like him and like watching him play. I hope they rest him remainder of this season. He is tiny but he is really good and I root for him even though a gump.

He should retire when his contract ends. He will probably be a solid college position coach and recruiter. Tua has always seemed like a decent guy.
