will be an overall thin DL unless we end up signing some studs this year

have you seen the recent recruiting? not saying LSU has another DE pair like Mingo or Montgomery, but DL/DE won't be an issue.

If we lose Chavis, yes, if not maybe; depends on our depth chart, as we have seen this year what that can do to a team especially on offense. Anything can happen and Manziel is a pretty good QB in Sumlin's system his first year.

Yea, I see Tevin Lawson this year, and no DT's from last year.

Doubts. I have them.

If it happens it is in 2 years. We take you in Tiger Stadium. It will be back at Kyle with Manziel as a Jr. that scares me.

True, but I expect it will be in 2 years. The game in LSU will likely be something like 20-17 LSU

absolutely true.
Next year might be a toss up, i think DV will be a big factor.
I am very confident when the game comes back to Kyle though.

LSU needs Greg Gilmore and Tim Williams signatures in February.

True. Not because of incompetence or a decline in LSU, but because I think A&M will be better

False

Throwing 56 passes per game won't work, plus they are Aggies they'll find a way to choke even if they play relatively well.

2 of the games are in TS so you can go ahead and chalk those up as L's. So really its only one chance.

Maybe in 2014, not 2013 though.

False. A&M gets blown out next year, too.

You serious? 24-19 is not a blowout.

Maybe? In that span, aTm might learn to play better defense. LSU isn't going to forget how, I don't think. And in that span, LSU might figure out how to be balanced on offense. So it could happen, or not.

Predicting college football in the future is a very difficult thing, things can change so quickly. I will certainly be very disappointed if A&M hasn't beaten LSU in the next 3 years, next 2 years honestly. A&M will lose some players but so will LSU. Chances for next year certainly will be affected by the decisions of the 3 projected 1st Rounders to stay or go (Moore, Joekel, and Matthews). If all 3 return that's huge for A&M. LSU would feel a sting from losing M&M as well.

A&M has a solid and deep recruiting class coming in and they will have several JUCO mid term enrollees that count back to last year. Class will probably be 30 or so when all is said and done, maybe even over that. Mix that in with the emerging players and that's certainly room for optimism. The speed at the skill positions next year for A&M is going to be ridiculous. If they can find a way to get RSJ and/or to get Derrick Griffin qualified it gets really scary. Adding them to go with Evans gives JFF multiple 6'5/6'6 big receivers that are fast and can catch to go with a stockpile of burners. A&M is going for speed, speed, speed at WR. They also have 2 stud transfer RB's that are in their transfer year this season.

Defense is the bigger question. The first string should be solid but it simply is taking time to build SEC level depth. Realistically it won't happen by next year, the real concern is with the DB's. I'm really hopeful we can land Mike Mitchell in this class, he may be the best LB to come out of Texas in the last several years and was at the LSU game.

It certainly doesn't hurt that Texas looks like it is on the verge of going full out dumpster fire. Mack Brown is feeling real heat for the first time but he has a LONG term contract and a lot of support where it counts. The disarray in Austin certainly is helping to open the door for A&M. The publicity A&M has gotten from the SEC move has been huge and combined with the Manziel mania A&M seems to have all the buzz right now. It's hard not to be excited as an Aggie fan right now but still we have to find a way to win these big games.

He had a single TO against La Tech. If I recall, it was a pick that was not his fault. I don't remember it.
