True. A&M almost did it this year but turnovers cost them (as usually is the case).

Looks like they're back to being rivals ...

Super possible but less likely to happen. It will take a major change in the staff at LSU.

I mean I guess. They were inside the 20 down 5 with only a few minutes to go though.

True but I think he meant we spotted them a double digit lead and still won pretty easily. Their last points were in garbage time.

I think our defense had a little to do with his mistakes.

HA!!

The miscommunication b/t him and his receiver on the Jalen Collins INT (not saying JC32 wouldn't have made an INT anyway, but damn), and the pass that bounced of a wide open Mike Evans chest that was gift wrapped to Minter. Evans would have gotten 20 yards at least had he caught it.

The last INT by Simon was just a flat out big league play. He baited JFF into throwing that pass like they teach in the NFL

And yet it wasn't being played as garbage time...

Its not like the game was a blowout and the 3rd string game in, that game really wasn't over until it was over.

once lsu figured out how to stop JFF you basically didnt score. count your garbage TD if it makes you feel better.

eta: you probably deserved at least 3 i guess. the other missed field goal was a longshot. just like LSU's miss.

True but probably not until 2 years from now when LSU returns to kyle field.

If aTm loses the best part of their OLine to the draft, they will need somebody to step up big time.

Manziel needs to improve on his accuracy if he wants to beat a top defense like LSU. Running without the solid threat of passing won't do much good unless they have 5 all-americans on the offensive line.

Plus, the defense needs work. Time will tell if the aTm recruiting will provide for better players. But if I'm Sumlin, I'd concentrate on getting better on defense.

Maybe once when the QB is a senior and his line is older. I don't expect the aggie defense to improve much.

It was over at 24-12 the last TD was a gift.

You're welcome.

Here are my concerns other than JFF:

Think about aTm signing RSJ in February, 2 years from now, LSU won't have Mingo or Sonic Sam (will be an overall thin DL unless we end up signing some studs this year), LSU has a new QB (and possibly/hopefully a new OC). I have doubts of winning after next year.

Serious questions:
1. Will the OLine be better? Your two tackles are gone by then.
2. Will the defense be improved?
3. Will Manziel improve upon his accuracy when forced to throw from the pocket?

If the answers are yes, A&M has a chance to win.
