Fault goes to clock operator. If the clock stops fast enough for the first down, once the chains and ball are set and the clock starts, there wouldn't be enough time for the snap.

I missed the play -- I was watching something else at the time -- but how would there literally have been no time for a snap if everything's set? A snap takes less than a second.

SEC office in Birmingham assigned the re-play officials, led by Alabama alum Tom Ritter, whose daughter goes to Alabama, to this game. They conspired to screw LSU again. This has been going on for years. LSU would have won the game without that call... and it isn't the penalty, it is when it is called at key moments in the game.
Someone ought to call the FBI. LSU ought to pull out and join the Big 12...
