It says on the ESPN ticker that Lawrence is weighing his options on whether to return to Clemson or get ready for the draft.

As in, right now or after this year?

I think that means after the season is over. I know Nick Bosa did it but I don't see Lawrence opting out mid season

They made it seem midseason, but I don't know.

If he comes back, DJ Uiagelelei will likely transfer. So, we're essentially trading two seasons of DJ for 1 season of Lawrence. I'm not sure that's a good thing.

That’s a big decision.
Hope he seeks advice from people who care about him and know about what they’re talking.

This was put out last week then Schefter(I believe it was) came back a day or 2 later reporting NFL personnel people fully expect he's coming out. Question that would begin to circulate if he decides to stay, does DJ U stick around after the way he's played? I'm not so sure he would.

Why? He would clearly win the job next year

Honestly if they aren't a lock for the playoffs, I can def see why he would just sit the rest of the year. I dont think anyone would disagree.

Oh ok. I just saw this and the way they put it I thought he wasn't coming back this year.

He is talking about if Lawrence comes back for the 21 season.

Now that I think about it, Bennett would probably start over him

He’s a day 1 starter next year in the NFL IMO. I didn’t even know if this was an issue

It would be best if he sat out and got ready for the draft. They already lost and DJ is more than capable and handling this team.

I was thinking about that scenrio lol. UGA fans should pray Lawrence comes back. I could see DJ transferring to UGA in that scenario. However, Kirby would likely ruin him.

That brings up an interesting question:

If Trevor does come back for another college season, is it at Clemson? If he does, then what’s the plan for 2022?

He should sit out and get ready for the draft.

This season is pretty much a wash anyway and who knows if it will even be completed. No sense in taking a chance on getting hurt.

I don't think anyone would fault him for that.

There's no need for him to have a long face over this.
