I believe I-75 will be shut down because of flooding. Will it be open by Saturday? Not sure. Check to make sure and prepare accordingly.

Sante Fe river will crest in the next day or so. The river is just north of Gainesville.

I bet there won't be 50,000 at that game.

There's still a massive fuel shortage for those that drive. Assuming that I75 and other major arteries in Florida remain closed, how many UT fans are gonna fly in?

On top of that, UF fans have given up on this staff.

Yeah, 50K would be a good crowd, tbh.

If you're coming from jax... blanding is closed at 218, as middleburg is flooded af. I recommend us 17 to sr 16, or hitting up 301 from i 10. Also state road 100 is closed heading west from palatka, if you were trying to hit sr 26 straight on in.

I would show up to hate on both teams, but i have a giant oak limb crushing my soffet and fascia i need to deal with

Edit: if 75 closes, getting on sr 100 in lake city then 121 south at lake butler may be the option. florida 511 dot com for road outages...

I'm coming north from Ocala, so I think I'm going to be OK. I do need to check with my hotel and car rental to be sure I still have both.

Why not just take 441?

No harm checking. I was talking to a gentleman and a bit unsure of his job. He said he was in charge of the cave systems in the area and was ordering his staff to shut down. He went on to say that major roads were shutting down because of flooding.

No need to down vote me. After all I am a bit sensitive to internet trolls bullying me. ;-)

You tell me? I'm flying into Orlando and driving to Ocala to spend the night. Drive from Ocala to the game, and back, then to Tampa to fly home on Sunday.

I was assuming I75 from Ocala to Gainesville and back.

75 has been pretty jacked up traffic wise, no idea how that'll change going north by Saturday. Just consult google maps traffic (or your preferred app) and see how it's flowing. 301/441 has been pretty solid as an alternative. It also depends where these roads are in relation to where you're staying in ocala. Thursday or friday I'd take a few seconds to check driving directions, make sure you aren't gonna hit any closures.
