Texas will totally overlook Louisiana Tech and get beat.

Texas will still be overconfident that they can manhandle an SEC team because of Georgia ( thank you Georgia)

LSU will beat the piss out of Texas, sending their program back another two years.

They will lose to OU and another game.

Herman will be on the hot seat with the good ole boys at Texas.

Happy New Year!

What fantasy world do you live in? The only game Texas is losing next year is either the RRS or Big 12 CCG vs OU. There’s a good chance one of those teams sweeps the other too. OU and Texas are Recruiting lights out and both coaches are hungry. OU vs Texas is going back to how it used to be. Big 12 title and playoff bid on the line. I wouldn’t bet against Texas winning the big 12 next year with OU breaking in a new QB but you never know with Riley they may be even better with Rattler.

I respect La Tech football. They play a physical brand of ball. Looking forward to both matchups. I don’t see either leaving Austin with a win though.

That 6'6" WR for Texas just announced today he is coming back for his Senior season. Texas will be good in 2019.

Losing all of the DL (3 starters); 3 OL; 1 RB; 2 DB; 2 LB; 1 TE; maybe 1 WR so that's 12, maybe 13. Definitely not ideal.

O Line is going to be a major concern again. They'll be stacked at WR and DB. Ehlinger is legit. They need to find a second running back, and then more depth on the defensive line.

They'll be good. First 6 games determines how good.

LA Tech
LSU
Rice
Okie St
WVU @
Oklahoma

Back end is weak. LSU win and they could get rolling and make a run. LSU steamrolls them and that next four, discounting Rice, could be a groundswell of disappointment. They have time go 5-1 or better those 6. So pretty much their playoff hopes will be made or broke by Oct 12.

Don't think they will beat LSU. LSU wins big OOC games early. Usually convinvingly

Also factor in the amount of attrition already announced. 2 backup QBs, a rb, DL guys.

Also does Beuchle stay after the spring knowing Ehlinger is the man? His style makes a backup QB very large. Roschon Johnson isn't gonna cut it.

Those senior starters will always have my gratitude, although outside of Omenihu, Johnson & Boyd, none of them would be starters on a Texas team 10 years ago. We will be overall a more talented team next season. We will definitely miss the experience & leadership.

You must've forgot that Miami just jacked LA Tech's defensive coordinator.

Davante had a helluva season as well IMO.

Nelson was solid, but Wilbon looks like he should be formidable and then Coburn has a lot of potential.

Beck was such a leader for the squad, but as long as Ehlinger is around Texas will be fine from a leadership standpoint.

Don't think those guys announced they were leaving yet, but they are in the portal. Probably need/could really use one of them to stay unless Buechele stays in Austin but I don't know if I see that happening.
