Auburn's style for this tournament format is perfect with their depth.

Yeah you’re right. Dominating for 3 or 4 games is better than dominating for 18 games

So you would rather be “hot” for 3 days instead of being the best over 2 months and 18 games?

As a fan of team that doesn’t do well in either since joining the SEC I disagree. Regular season shows long term success and big wins on the road.

A team can get hot for 3-4 games and win conference tournament with a shitty record. Think UGA a number of years back. It happens at least 1 conference tournament a year I’d bet.

Your season isn’t over if you lose one of those 18

Was Auburn’s season over if they lost today?

So the Georgia team who won the tournament in 2008 was a better team than the SEC regular season champion? I don’t think so

Let’s put it this way, sans investigation would you have rather had LSUs season or Auburn’s? The answer for everyone every year would almost always be LSU’s.

Are you going to argue a Final Four or better is less than a SEC Regular Season Championship?

You’re not getting either, so your question is moot.

I saw a Kentucky team who lost every single SEC road game get to a Final Four. It’s never out of the question.

Also this is the opposite of what we heard all the times that UK and UF lost in the tournament in the last 15-20 years....so which is it?
