Tough loss but the SEC still got put on notice

This Dawgs b-ball team isn’t the cupcake teams of years past
Coach Mike white has these boys playing hard. Even if we don’t win a lot this year, we will be a tough out. We might pull of some upsets, as Mike White has proven that he can beat Auburn at their peak.
This is the start of a new era boys.
Mike White is a good coach and saw that he could build something special in the Classic City.
Unlike the unappreciative fans at his last spot (who also ran off Dan Mullen and downgraded for a G5 bust of a coach in football (and in basketball)) Mike White will have the time and support he needs to build UGA basketball into a respectable program.
Just like how Kirby was laughed at after year one, y’all can laugh now, but y’all should be scared for the future.

I think Mike was a great hire and will make you guys much better than you have been. That being said, pump your brakes buddy. The top half of the league is still going to backhand you most of the time.

We have a long way to go
We’ve been a dumpster fire like forever it seems
But Florida will regret letting Mike white go just like they are regretting firing Dan Mullen and hiring sun belt billy

Sun belt billy is clearly in over his head.
He lost to all their rivals and Vandy this year.
At least Mullen can coach qbs and is a brilliant OC

Pretty much. That’s a huge step up for UGA. In a few years we might even make a NCAA tournament and lose in the first round. That would be like vandy making a bowl game. Huge accomplishments for teams that are pathetic at the respective sports.

No reason Georgia should be bad in basketball. Mike White might be the guy to build the program.

I don't think we'll be appreciably better than last year. We may win 1 or 2 more SEC games, but we won't get blown out by mid tier teams either like happened all too often last season.
