Scares me, my dad is active as hell but he twitches and shows signs. I believe his grandfather had it.

Damn…a family member was diagnosed about 2 years ago. Not a death sentence by any means, but it makes life considerably more difficult. Meds can slow it down significantly if caught early. Prayers.

Father-in-Law has it.
Hes an outstanding athlete. Played football & rugby at LSU. Still made of bricks with an 8-pack etc. but can no longer walk.
Pretty devastating disease to watch.

My Father passed in 2012 with it. 67 years old diagnosed in 1988. Prayers for him and family.

Yeah dad retires this year, but I don't think he will let that slow him down. If he wasn't so busy I'd be worried. The dude loaded 6x6 beams on to his trailer last week
But when talking to him or working with him on projects, I def notice it.

That’s what my dad has but he is much older. Good luck in your fight coach.

Well I'll just say medications made it hardly noticeable for 5-6 years, still doing marathons an such, and then the progression just went over a cliff over 18 months.

Sorry to hear this, he seems like a good man.
His mind is definitely in the right place.

As an LSU fan I admire and like Richt always seemed like a great man and coach.
Hate this for him and his family. Will pray for all of them

Don’t know anything about the disease but Michael J. Fox has had it for 30 or so years. Hopefully he can take medication to really slow his progression down

Went on his Twitter and had to stop reading all the well-wishes, I literally started tearing up. Doing it now typing this.
