Just spent 3 hours with a bunch of Auburn grads after the game. They tried to explain away all the accusations with conspiracy MSU and UF theories. When I calmly pointed out that their explanations were harder to believe than the screwy accusations...BOOM.... they went nuts screaming ALL-IN and calling me names. One of them even called me a racist who doesn't want to see a black quarterback succeed in the SEC. I fell over laughing. They have all collectively lost their minds.

45-70 is an anachronistic caliber that should have been done away with. You're a douche bag for even mentioning it!

Only the ones who are actually still talking to people. I'm willing to bet there are a good number of Auburn fans who realize how shitty everything is with their program, but simply don't want to interact with the world right now. That's what I would be doing if I were an Auburn fan right now--hiding my head in shame.

You do know it's bad when your own fan base is trying to distance themselves from you, right?

Yeah, because people were saying the same things about Auburn in 2004 or Alabama in 2008 or Florida in 2009, right? GTFO.

I am still trying to figure out how anybody can prove Cam knew anything? He is an adult separate from his father. If his father says he did all this without Cam's knowledge how can that be disproven? Of course I think Cam knew, but I don't think it can be proven.

it may only be proven with circumstantial evidence that people will dispute

if he said "the money was too good to pass up" then he clearly knew

It never fails to amaze me when people accuse others of "insanity" just because they disagree with them.

Fact: nobody knows for certain what went down with Cam. The process of finding out will be long, and the end result is unknown.

I'm not taking Auburn's side on this, but the level of animosity on this board has gotten ridiculous--posters have started complaining about uniforms, fan traditions, songs, and cheers for God's sake. Things that have nothing to do with anything.

This board used to be interesting, but now it's like listening to a bunch of 13-year-old girls have a whinefest because somebody's boyfriend dumped her.

there is an emotional and often hysterical component to the Auburn fans denying anything is wrong

and yes there are some going overboard in the other direction bashing them.
