Is this a fact? If so it's certainly nothing to brag about.

My guess is that since you picked 23, 67 and 87 that means that an SEC school is pegged in those slots. Take those away and you have 2 of the top 22, 7 of the top 66 and 9 of the top 86...roughly 10% of the top 100. Am I right?

He also took a shot at Jim Delany too.

Just think how little you'd have to refute this comment if not for A&M and Mizzou coming in to bolster your academic profile

And a bigot who is so short bus special that he even took a shot at your athletic commissioner is something to brag about?

Reggie Germany. Look it up.

If you didn't look it up or don't know about it, Reggie Germany had a 0.0 GPA during a fall semester at Ohio State.

The conference that calls itself the Big 10, that has 14 schools, obviously got the SEC confused with the Big 12 that has 10 schools.

I am just curious what his remediation plan entails? College presidency for dummies? How to run a school 101?

It's clear he is nothing but a comedian who can raise (and spend) a lot of money. Estimated pay with all his perks is 7.7 million. That is a bunch of jack he is going through.

He also certainly didn't mind pocketing that money those SEC "dummies" made him at Vandy either.

I'm pretty sure Webster's just put Gordon Gee's picture next to the definition of hypocrit in the dictionary.

I think you will begin to see the academic reputations of current SEC member institutions improve more and more as population trends continue to drift South.

Agreed. But, think how much it would benefit the SEC's reputation to add two prestigious schools like UVA & UNC to our lot as well as those improvements.

No.
Is that all you people do in Ohio - throw out insults?
I did not say one syllable against your beloved Ahia State or Ohio.
WTF is wrong with you ????

Did you not bother to read ANY of the brief facts I mentioned about each SEC School in the 2 posts earlier in this thread ??? These came from a NATIONAL web site....
Probably not, because that's all ya'll, er, sorry... "you guys" up North seem to be good at - making up wild fantasies and assuming tired old stereotypes that have 0 basis in fact.

We are not insulting you, why do you feel you have to perpetuate smug, innacurate, and monumentally stupid fantasies?

Even your University Presidents are doing it....

Your only saving grace is that one of the greatest movies ever made was filmed in Mansfield Ohio.....

It's not an insult, just wondering why you picked odd numbers in your stats. I've never seen an AP top 23 or Fortune 87 list, have you? I'm certainly not upset about anything but apparently you have your panties in a wad and can't take criticism.

FWIW, we all think Gee's a joke and needs to go. He's either got Tourette's, going senile, or both.

You have voiced your opinion on Ohio. Guess that means you aren't watching the Memorial this week? I have nothing but love for the southern states. I travel there frequently. Great food and people.

But you are right, Shawshank was a great flick. Major League and A Christmas Story weren't bad either.

No, man. Ohio is UK's new prime recruiting ground for football. Louisville is competing with us there, too. I suppose that's one of the reasons Gee-whiz singled us out in his rant.

We're honored.
