List is 100% spot on and will turn out to be completely accurate by season's end, IMO.

I think JFF >>> Clowney as a college player. JFF brings it on every play. Clowney is a great player but he doesnt dominate a game.

Its obviously MUCH easier to dominate a game as a QB rather than a DE. Clowney dominates opponents' dcoordinator's minds while game planning. He redirects so many plays and affects the games more than the stat sheets can show.

He had 4.5 sacks against Clemson setting the record for most sacks by a single player in Clemson's stadium.
And while he didn't dominate the Tennessee or Michigan games, we sure as hell wouldn't have won without him. He had the late game-saving moments. Same goes for Georgia 2011.

So he may not dominate every single game on the stat sheet or box score, but he certainly is a dominant force that affects almost every one our opponents' offensive plays. Just his potential to create havoc on the one play the LT decides to not give it his all or someone else misses a block is something to be noted because of how he can take advantage.

Clowney obvious one, Manziel debatable two.

No you wouldn't.

Clowney is a freak, and the SEC's best NFL prospect by a mile. But he doesn't single handedly win you games. He's instead a dominant force on a very good defense.

Manziel is the country's preeminent playmaker. There isn't a player in the country whom you'd rather have the ball in the clutch or when you need a play. You take JFF over every player when you need to score. Period.

Of course Clowney doesn't provide that. And that's no knock on him, it's just the nature of his position.

i think that is all true. but the same argument can be made for JFFs effect on defenses, and I think to a greater degree.

Shaw and Chaz Sutton should be on that list based on production, their stats are better than several of the guys in the same position listed.

The 2nd to last slide was "the next 50 to watch" and had Jimmy Legree and Brison Williams but no Victor Hampton.

Manziel #1 , NcCarron should be #2. Clowney is a great player but no position can impact a game like the QB.

CyKo at #11?

He'll probably be a Top 3 pick in next year's draft.

Its not about NFL potential gump, its about college football. You think Manziel is a #1 overall pick? Not obviously, but he's the #1 college player in the league/country.

Clowney is the best SEC player we have seen since Tebow and Newton and Aggie fans are still in here arguing it.

You guys fit in well with the SEC.

It's just good to see that they are unbiased.
