10. Jalen Knox- MIZZOU
9. Jaden walley- MSU
8 Jacob Copeland- Florida
7.Jermaine burton- UGA
6. Kayshon boutte- LSU
5. Ainias Smith- TAMU
4. Kearis Jackson- UGA
3. John metchie- BAMA
2. Treylon burks- ARK
1. George Pickens-UGA

Georgia appears loaded at receiver just depends on if they can get them the ball this year, or if Kirby stays stuck in the 80s with his play calling

Eta: I believe burks will have the best stats because of the way he will be the focal point of the Arkansas offense and Pickens will not be week 1 ready but when both are healthy Pickens is the better pure receiver

Wrong.

Boutte
Metchie
Burks
A. Smith

Are easily the top 4.

If Pickens plays he’s 1.

so you’d flip Jackson and boutte. Makes sense but I wouldn’t say I’m that wrong

Boutte out played Devonta Smith last year the last 3 games when he was the number 1 option. Not saying he was better, but pretty incredible for a freshmen. Not to mention he now is the record holder for receiving yards in a game for the SEC.

Pickens
Boutte
Metchie
Burks

And then there is a big gap imo.

I loved what I saw from boutte at the end of the season and I could see him blowing up but I would like to see more consistent production before he goes in the top 5. I agree at the end of the year last season he was dominant

I’ve heard anywhere from Week 4 to not at all. But the sources I trust the most said late November

I think it really depends on his motivation to get back and play this season. If it were Nick Chubb, week 4 easy. Not sure George has the same drive or motivation to rehab and return that quickly (much as I’d love to see it)

There will be more Alabama WR on this list at the end of 2021.

Bama's last three regular season games.

Auburn 42-13
LSU 55-17
52-3

LSU's last three regular season games.

Bama 17-55
Florida 37-34
Ole Miss 53-48

Smith was pretty much on the bench the 2nd half of those three Bama blowout wins. Of course a player playing 3 full games will have better stats then a player playing basically a game in a half.

I think Alabama is loaded at WR. Now we have a speed guy. Could be the deepest I’ve seen it. I know it’s hard to say that after the last few years.

We haven’t seen the full potential of this guy but I’ve heard he’s going to impress. When the likes of Pitts, Toney, and Grimes are on the field its hard to shine. Its his turn now.

Coming off an ACL with Kirby Smart as head coach? Bold and ill-informed.
